My bff and I are currently in San Diego! The universe told us we needed to do some healing by the ocean so here we are, 8 hours away from home. Plus, she wants to move here in the future but she’s never been so I decided a road trip down here is what she needed. We’re only here until tomorrow sooo today is our busy day of sight seeing. Neither of us are the best planners so we’re taking this trip moment by moment.

Ah! I brought my Canon Rebel T3i and Nikon D40 cameras with me and I am so happy with all the pictures I have taken so far! I regret not bringing my laptop because I would’ve been able to edit and upload pictures already but whatever, I guess that wasn’t a part of the plan. But ugh, I got some really amazing pictures that I cannot wait time share. I got the most perfectly timed photos of birds flying off into the sunset and sea lions basking in the sun. I probably sounded a little crazy to the people around us when I was taking pictures yesterday but it’s because I was so overjoyed with how well the photos were coming out! I would share my vision out loud and then right then and there, the picture I was hoping to capture, happened and was captured at the perfect moment. That rarely ever happens, especially when working with live animals and the ocean. Who knows, maybe I’ll start taking this hobby of mine a little seriously like people wish I would. They have a good point, I am pretty good at this 🤪

Any-who, I am loving San Diego so far! But I also can’t wait to be back home with my pets.

Ps: today is the 18th, meaning my birthday is exactly a month away now. How exciting!
